The time has come, and not a moment too soon... we can't keep up this 3 countries in the last 3 days routine for long (Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia). We finished packing this morning, lounged about the apartment because the 10 am 'chuck-out' passed with no-one around and eventually took our last 63 kunas in the world down to the same cafe we ate at on Day 1 - Presa. Just the next street over from the apartment and slightly off the Old Town beaten track, we were the first customers of the day and perused the menu at length to figure out what we could afford with 63 kunas - turns out quite a bit - two big toasted/open sandwiches and some chippies. Which is lucky - we don't land in Rome till after 5 pm - then bags then an hour or more out into the countryside - a long while until dinner. Anyway - tootled off to the Pile Gate with our bags, car arrived on the button and we were at the airport in no time - happy to see the plane for our flight was on-time and en route from Rome (flight aware flight tracking site is a great tool!) Eventually we were on the Vueling plane - sheesh! Haven't flown these guys for a couple of years and even then we'd talked our way into the Exit rows on the trip from Marrakesh to Barcelona to Dublin. We'd not worried about it for this hour long flight, right up until we wedged ourselves in and realised the claustrophobia might actually do us in - an hour's flight or not. Switched into the exit row seats just behind us as soon as the door was shut and we had the OK. I read. James slept. Farewell Dubrovnik indeed... Rome, here we come.
