Island Life!! Another day waking up on beautiful Robinson Island and with rain pouring down there were still smiles all around. Carlos, the German couple and the Irish couple were all off today so we joined everyone for breakfast before exchanging contact details and saying our goodbyes. The rain stopped but with not much to do we just sat around talking and sharing travel experiences with some other guests at the island. There were two guys from London and two girls from Germany and they were all really interesting people. We ate more coconut, swam and enjoyed fried fish for lunch. Later in the day we all joined The Captain for a boat ride over to a special island where we could get to meet the local Guna yala people. The village was super interesting and absolutely full of kids (island where all kids go to school) running around and making trouble. I had this really funny thing happen where:
When we returned we got some of the local kids and tried to have a game of football; unfortunately Micha ended up breaking his toe 5 minutes in so we were forced to stop. With not much else to do someone suggested buying a bottle of rum and with that another huge night of drinking, stories, laughs and drunkenness began. As we drank everyone naturally came out of their shells and I got to hear some hilarious stories and witness some funny funny things. I snuck off at the end of the second bottle and glad I did as the rest of the group continued on until 4am and drunk 3 litres of rum and god knows what else in the end.
