Yoga Time! Once again I didn't have much of a plan for the day and unfortunately I hadn't been able to sleep so well so I was up early. In the morning I went for my usual walk into the centre; practice a little Spanish at the market and kill some time. I wanted to get a nice photo of myself, Rene and Asia printed out and framed as a little Thankyou gift to Rene - this ended up taking a lot longer then expected but gave me something to do. In the afternoon I did some more Spanish study and did some reading about yoga. I have been practicing yoga for a while but really for me it has turned into a stretching and exercising program as opposed to what yoga is really about: a connection with mind, body and spirit. I guess I feel I have been missing out on the true benefits of yoga and would like to either teach myself or learn the true practice of yoga again from the beginning. In the evening when both Rene and Asia had returned we headed out to one of Rene's favorite resteraunts to eat the Salvadorian dish: pupuzas (tortillas stuffed with different fillings). I went for a chicken stuffed pupuza which was delicious and some spicy salad to accompany it all for 70 cents. We met some friends of Rene's which was nice and we all went to visit the Carwash that Rene had just purchased. The Carwash was huge and you could tell Rene would make good money with it and to see how happy he was at finally acquiring his own business - priceless. 1 more day in Santa Ana and El Salvador then Guatemala here we come.
