Recovery Day!! After a couple too many Rums lastnight with new friends everyone was a little slow getting up this morning. By midday Rene and Asha were ready to go for lunch so we headed down the road to a nice little home where an old lady and her daughter cooked hot meals. There were people everywhere and a line of hungry locals waiting for their lunches: for $2 we got a chicken casserole, salad and rice with tortillas. We took the food back to Rene's and sat outside under his patio and enjoyed the delicious food. Asha and I then walked into the centre and wondered around a little seeing some of the sights, visiting the tourism office and then making our way to the market. Asha decided to take a bus out to the lake which I had visited a few days ago so I decided to stay and wonder around the market some more. I ended buying a bunch of avocado, some typical drink and some snacks before walking back to Rene's. The rest of the day I relaxed and did some writing, yoga and trip planning for my next stop which will be Guatemala.
