We left for the airport this morning at 5:50. After we had booked in we looked around the shops. Hong Kong airport is huge with a huge amount of shops many of them designer but we didn't buy anything. The plane left on time at 10:00 and the flight was 12 and a half hours long. I managed to watch 3 films in that time. It did seem a long flight but we eventually arrived back at Heathrow at 4:00- not quite the weather we have been used to but not as cold as we expected.

Our 3 month trip has been great and has gone so quickly. There have been many highlights including the Big Pit, the Great Ocean Road, Shark Bay as well as many others. Catching up with friends and relations was brillisnt and we hope to go back to Australia in the not too distant future.

Many thanks to all of you have read my blog and those of you who have written comments. Although I haven't replied to the messages I have read every one. I know there are typing errors (not like me!!) but I will correct these and then we will have a permanent reminder of our holiday that we can peruse on cold and wet days. I now have the task of sorting the numerous photos we have taken and remembering where we were.
