Hi blog followers! It's Thursday, the day before we leave and I am just checking that I can remember how to do the blog. The cases are packed with lots of T-shirts, shorts and swimming gear and only the last minute jobs to do. We leave tomorrow morning at 5:00 and John will be driving us to Gatwick for our flight which departs at 9:40. We change planes in Dubai and then it is straight to Perth arriving at 12:30 lunchtime. Then the holiday begins!

We left for the airport this morning at 5:50. After we had booked in we looked around the shops. Hong Kong airport is huge with a huge amount of shops many of them designer but we didn't buy anything. The plane left on time at 10:00 and the flight was 12 and a half hours long. I managed to watch 3 films in that time. It did seem a long flight but we eventually arrived back at Heathrow at 4:00- not quite the weather we have been used to but not as cold as we expec...

Well the day has come at last and the cases are packed! Only 3 hours now till driver John arrives to collect us. What a shame we will be leaving the rain!

It is now only 5 weeks before we set off on our trip to Australia. We will be leaving England on Wednesday 2nd January and flying via Hong Kong. We will arrive in Perth early Friday morning and will be greeted by family. Several weeks will be spent in Perth and Busselton staying with Mick's sisters. Mid-February we will be flying to Adelaide to stay with an old school friend of mine. Then we will be driving to Melbourne along the coast road and staying in Melb...
