Having a brilliant time on Thong Nai Pan Yai beach (what a mouthful!) and will be sad to leave. Went exploring this morning to the beach that I was planning on staying at - Thong Nai Pan Noi - which is about 1 1/2 km away and it wasn't as nice as this place so I was very relieved that the 60 year old American guy I met in the taxi told me to come here! I did find a cool pufferfish washed up on shore - well I thought it was cool and have photographic evidence!! The resort is lovely but is run by a very unfriendly ladyboy who seems to hate both men and women! The entire beach is deserted which makes the place much more special and I wonder if I would like it as much in high season when it is filled with tourists.

Had a thai massage today which was amazing and think she massaged every single muscle even ones I didn't know I had! There is a storm coming now as it is the start of the wet season but I leave tomorrow so hopefully it wont follow me to Phuket! I am staying at the cool guesthouse in Ko Samui again tomorrow night which should be fun as I fly to Phuket on Saturday to meet Paula. Can't wait to see a friendly face as so far my friends in Thailand have been a Belgium man with a mullet, a German man with round spectacles and speedos, and 3 bald men aged between 30 and 60 - think I should start to worry about my pulling power!!
