Hi all! I am now in Koh Phangan! Spent a night in Chaweng in Koh Samui at an amazing guesthouse called AKWA which was decorated with Pop Art all over the walls and is like someone's bedroom. The manager was a crazy pissed gay guy who has adopted a 10 year old Thai boy and told me all about his ex boyfriend problems within seconds of meeting me (he did make me a very large free cocktail to make up for it!) Had a chilled out night at a Mexican restaurant/bar and was too scared to venture to Green Mango, a popular bar, as was not feeling brave enough to go it alone!!

Got a boat to Koh Phangan at lunchtime and have spent the afternon on the beach, which is really pretty. Not keen on the place I am staying but it is only for a night. Think the problem I'm having with meeting people (apart from being really shy!) is that the places I am staying in are hotels with no real social factor to them. Right I am going to book some accommodation for the next few nights x
