Well it has been a difficult few days and I had been feeling really down and questioned what I was thinking doing this by myself! Am much happier now and think I was just on a bit of a downer after my trip and had been feeling really lonely. Don't think it helped that Chaweng in Ko Samui and last night at Hat Rin in Ko Phangan were really touristy areas and I was not brave enough to say 'hi my name is Julia can I be your friend?!' In fairness I didn't try as hard as I should have as I was secretly hoping they would do it for me but why should they? Still really liked Hat Rin and the beach was cool but think I will go back there in a group!

Anyway I am now on the north west part of Ko Phangan and I absolutely love it. Feel that I have found a little bit of paradise and I am finally able to relax. The beach, which has soft white sand and clear blue/green sea, is so beautiful and as it is low season it is pretty much deserted. I have already had 2 dinner invitations from a group of middle aged German men and from 3 bald men of varying ages!! (think I should start to worry about who I am able to attract especially after the Belgium man in Ko Samui!)

Right better get ready for dinner, but who should I pick to dine with??! x
