Hello well I am now in Ko Samui and staying in Lamai which is a more chilled out part of Ko Samui as I was planning on relaxing for a few days after my Indochina trip. I am staying at a beautiful resort (thanks to Paula) and have already made friends with the only other apparent resident who is a Belgium man with a mullet and who wears the shortest shorts I have ever seen!! Went to the beach today which was beautiful and have discovered that I am actually not very good at doing nothing - it is harder than I thought! Going to head to Chaweng tomorrow for 1 night as it is meant to be a lot livelier, then off to Ko Pha Ngan for a couple of nights. I think Ko Samui is a lot nicer than what I had been told, although I think Chaweng is a lot more touristy and I am quite enjoying the chilled out atmosphere in Lamai xx
