My Medical Adventure
I came back to Trinidad on the 11th as we had been invited to a VIP opening party on the roof top of Zen's (a nightclub). It was very cool, the crowd was a bit older than ourselves but I meet some very cool people. There was a mixture of artists, musicians, tatooists, beautiful women and sportsman, everyone was really friendly towards us, buying us drinks all night and I had a really nice evening. We even meet Brian Lara, a famous cricketer so I found out, I had no idea who he was when he was first introduced to me. We partied in style and left the club at 4.30, apparently there closing time is when the last person leaves, so we could have stayed all night!!!.
The rest of the week in Trinidad we spent on the beach, chilling with the guys who took us to Zen's and shopping. We were feeling like proper locals by the time we had to leave. We even got invited to a Luke's (one of the friends we made) for an evening of home made oxtail soup and wine. It was very tasty and we ended up discussing men , women and relationships well into the night, very random!!
On our last night Rakesh an interm from the hospital took us all to him favourite Indo-Chinese restaurant. The food was delicious but I was a little dissappointed to find that the restaurant was run by Muslims and there was NO alcohol !!!! Rakesh was really sweet he made Rynn and I some Soca CD's to remind us of Trinidad. They are really cool and we have been wining to them ever since Thusday 16th when we left Trinidad to start the next part of our journey in LA. I will play them to you all when I get back.!!!!!!!
