God I am so so jealous?! sitting at my desk looking over the traffic in london victoria is a little less gorgeous than the amazing beach you mention in Tonga!!
Everything you've been doing sounds amazing, i'm sure that you're having a fab time and i bet it's flying by now. what date are you back again?
Work is the same as always, had the girls aloud shoot though which was really good fun. they're such nice girls and i got heaps of gossip off them plus had really good coverage in the papers/ mags. now that that's over though it seems a bit dull in the office, but still crazy busy?!
On the more interesting front, we had a girls night out on bank holiday sunday and headed to the good old pitcher and piano in fulham - was HILARIOUS!! we only had to queue a bit as went in really early but it was heaving with gorgeous men, seriously we didn't know which way to look as there were so many. Was a tad blunderous though and bumped into Matt in there (?!) first time i've seen him in over 2 months. needless to say it was highly comedy and he stayed at mine :) ah well we all do stupid things - i also managed to lose my phone so i think the sambuca has a lot to answer for!
We moved into our new house on Saturday - it's so nice! Right by the common in clapham (and of course practically next door to that aussie bloke andrew from infernos!) and the girls i'm livign with are really cool. will be gutted you'll miss out on my bday and i'll miss yours but we should be having a house warming later on in october so hopefulyl you can make that.

It is really strange being at home without you being here, missing you loads. Got lots to tell you but will send an email on Monday from work. Everyone has been asking after you and asking about your travels!

Starting law school in sept, and not expecting to make too many friends as they're all meant to be weirdos-really miss my Kings Days when our biggest stress was should we go to UCL cocktails or watch "Footballers' Wives?!"

It's officially Autumn here at the moment. Had good boiling summer weather though, which made all the tubes stop as they are not programmed to cope with temperatures above 30. ho ho. I love the way London just can't cope with snow and sun, cracks me up.

I'm an offically certified/qualified scuba diver. Hurrah! You won't catch me being scared of fish anymore! seen turtles, swam with a school of squid, (they're sooooo cute in real life!) had my fingernails cleaned by little shrimp thingys and generally fallen in love with all tings of the deep! have been stung by some nasty jellyfish too tho!
Loved the story about the trip to the waterfall. reminds me of my experiences when i have to walk home ever afternoon. you can guarantee, if i've left my umbrella (oh yes, i bought one with me!) at home, it will Pelt down with rain as i try to do the 30minute walk uphill wearing flip flops. so i understand completely.
As for the weather. i'm sorry to hear that you're getting as much rain as we are. we've actually had a few dry days which has been lovely - out on the boat getting very toasted...but we're due about another weeks worth of rain. there is a tropical storm building over the leeward islands that is heading in our direction. Whooppeee!!!! i just hope its not a hurricane!
Planning on finding some waterfalls myself this weekend. one of the Yanky students i met had been up to some of them already so i'm going to try to persuade him to come to some of the others with me in exchange for me joining him "Cliff-diving" over on the east coast. I'm not sure whether i'llbe diving tho...i'm pretty certain a 40ft dive would result in significant bikini losses...
Keep having an awesome time. i'm loving reading the journal. hope you got my email the other day. i meant what i said. i'm even ryingto persuade my big blister to come meet me in barbados and then come here and learn how to dive. he he! I'm so bad!

Glad you guys are getting on so well. Actually no, i'm not. How come all your journals say 'we went here this morning, and there that morning?' It sucks. its dark here from 5.50pm onwards, so all sightseeing/non drinking activities are restricted to the weekends. Don't get me wrong, i love drinking, but i wanna go play around in lush tropical waterfalls!

Glad to hear all is going swimmingly. I guess by the time you get this you'll be in Trinidad. Good luck with everything there. I'm really looking forward to getting to Dominica tomorrow. More than anything, i'm hoping it'll put an end to having to spend quite so much money!!!
All that aside, I miss you too much to say. It's been really hard work (but also kinda fun) being on my won - but hey...thats what i decided to do this for. I must admit tho, i don't ever think walking into a bar, ordering a drink and sitting at the bar alone is EVER going to seem any easier... Have met some lovely people tho. Met a lady called Caroline last night who gallantly rescued me from myeslf and swept me off to Sandals Grande for a day of "al;l-inclusive" experience. SLightly odd, as i'd only known here for about 3 hours but it was lovely all the smae just to share an experience with someone.
Love to the gang. Right this minute I'm really raher Home/chum-sick and am VERY jealous that you all have each other. Ho Hum, tho...whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger, hey?

SO jealous. Sounds like an amazing start to what will undoubtedly be, an amazing elective. I'm still unsure where i'm going... cant explain how it feels to not know whats going on, but hey ho, worse things in life eh. I have a back-up though, Bournemouth hospital have very kindly said I can join them, even at 24 hours notice of starting! Hopefully it wont come to that though. I'm still having my Hebrew lessons and determined to go unless it becomes a fully blown war! Tayo sent me a very sweet txt asking me not to go as he doesnt want to worry about me.
