Registered with a good agency and am working in the financial district for UBS, the HUGE investment bank. It's a bit of a toughie, but nothing i can't handle. Great to just have the spondoolies coming in again.

Joe has been helping me find somewhere to live but i feel so at home at his place that there really hasn't been any urgency! Except for the fact that Joe goes back to Ireland in a week so i really ought to sort it out. It's a very different set up from Sydney and not for backpackers ie very few furnished places. It is cheaper however.

So i've had a great time hanging out with Joe. We've been surfing, with his buddies Frankie and Louise, down at Torquay and other infamous surf beaches.....when i say "we", i mean i've been watching Joe surf, there's no hope of me doing such a salty activity! Joe and Frankie competed in a triathlon and did really well. Again, a spectator sport for me. We've been out on the irish piss at the Quiet Man a few times, the local pub - what a great CRAIC! Been for dinner and to the flicks and other lovely normal things!

The Games starts next week and the town will explode no doubt. Watch this space.
