Mum and i moved into a really nice little hostel in St Kilda and used it as a good base to get the tram into town and potter to our hearts' content. We love all the shops and coffee houses esp Acland Street in St Kilda. We enjoyed the gardens and visited the National Gallery. A couple of obligatory beach visits. And of course we snapped up a bargain here and there. Joseph took us out for dinner on Valentine's Day in Lygon Street, in the Italian quarter which was lovely. Then came time to say goodbye! Oh no!

Mum was going on to Brisbane to visit the Dutch contingent and so we parted ways. There was a minor hiccup in that she went to the wrong airport and missed her flight, so we had a bonus day together - YAY!

Thanks for everything Mummy - for all the laughs and all your kindness. It was ace to see you and spend time together. Love you!

I've now shacked up at Joseph's in Kensington and am spending most of my time this week on his laptop, looking for work. Got an interview or two lined up so something will come along.
