Well it's all worked out, thank God! Got a temp job immediately, thanks to one of my great agencies. It's at a property valuers and i'm PA to the two MDs (who are both called Greg). Sounds scarier than it is. In truth i just get to type up valuations of six million dollar properties all day. "Infinity pool....home cinema/rumpus room....uninterrupted views of Sydney Harbour Bridge..." etc.

After a very hard sleepless week in one of the worst hostels in Sydney, i have managed to find a room in a cute flat in Darlinghurst. The flat is home to a GORGEOUS couple, Paul and David and their cat, Levi. They have welcomed me into their home and are really taking care of me already. It's more expensive than i would normally pay but i get my own room and it's in the best spot imaginable, right in the middle of all the trendy Sydney hotspots. I'm just five minutes from Oxford Street, Kings Cross, Paddington and the city centre. Meeting Paul and David would be worth ten times the money anyway - we've just chatted and laughted non-stop since we met - they're ace.

So everything's fallen into place and i'm QUTE happy to wile away the next three weeks til MY MUMMY comes and we go off to Melbourne! YAY! x
