Day 31 Wednesday 11/09 Konya > Antalya 38 deg Sunny -

John here...A day of "M's" ...mountains, maniacs on the road (see photo) and Mediterranean. Left Konya on a mythical 3 lane highway, I say mythical coz the 3 lanes as the middle lane was shared for passing. The entertainment en route was watching a sedan packed full of fruit and veg but had the passenger rear door propped open with a hessian sack of fresh beans which slowly fell out of the car. We watched its progress on each bump and corner as it inevitably met the road. We I eventually passed the car, the driver had no clue! We dropped into a Roman Theatre at Aspendos. Then drove on through to "Turkvegas" where they build hotels to resemble iconic names, so we saw the Kremlin, Concorde (yes the plane), Titanic (yes the ship) and others. Then to our hotel, on the Mediterranean, with a 7km stretch of pebble beach.
