Enid here...After some retail therapy of watch buying, very happy, we set off for Athens. On the way we visited the 4th century B.C. theatre of Epidaurus which seated and still seats 14,000. Performances are pitch perfect because of the disc in centre stage and the seating made of limestone. Today different people took to the disc and when seated up on the top row we could hear paper being torn and breathing in between recitals of Shakespeare etc., really incredible and awesome to be here. "Shirl" the GPS found it hard to get us to a major toll road into Athens but eventually we found our special 2 nights Intercontinental Hotel. Great rooms and views of the Acropolis special dinner on the roof top terrace, light show at the Acropolis made it even more special. With much anticipation of sightseeing tomorrow and the cruise, I was too excited to sleep.
