Day 47 Friday 27/09 Athens 38 deg Sunny - John here...The morning started with a 2km walk to Syntagma Square where we caught the HO-HO Bus (Hop On Hop Off) and did the loop of the city and then Port Piraeus. Day 46 Thursday 26/09 Nafplion > Athens Sunny 28 deg - Enid here...After some retail therapy of watch buying, very happy, we set off for Athens. On the way we visited the 4th century B.C. theatre of Epidaurus which seated and still seats 14,000. Performances are pitch perfect because of the disc in centre stage and the seating made of limestone.
