When you're in prison you'll turn the other away, keep your back against the wall, when you're in prison you'll turn the other away, do not bend at all............

So yesterday the adventure that is New Zealand began. Pete and I arrived in Christchurch about 1 yesterday afternoon and hung around the airport for a couple of hours until the others arrived on a later flight. Not much to do in the airport so we decided to make them a big banner for when they arrived.

When they eventually turned up we jumped in the shuttle bus to our hostel. It's called the Jailhouse and it wasn't until we arrived there that I realised it was actually a converted prison. A chilled evening was on the cards. A few beers, game of Cluedo (which I won), and a game of poker (well done Steve). After this the other three headed to the pub for a drink ad I decided to take it easy and head to bed.

A good 10 hours sleep in what was probably the most comfortable dorm I've ever stayed in and a chilled out morning which consisted of a movie, some toast, and a couple of beers before getting onboard the Kiwi Experience bus to Kaikoura.

Currently just on the bus and stopping there just for the evening before heading to Nelson in the morning.
