That's a nice boulder........
Tomorrow we leave first thing in the morning to New Zealand and today has been a great way to end Australia. A day trip from Sydney to the Blue Mountains. We got a train that arrived into the nearest town of Katoomba at about midday. We grabbed a quick bite to eat and then headed to the mountains. We went straight to the Three Sisters. To be honest if I had named them I would have called them the "Three Rocks that aren't connected to the main mountain". Why sisters? I have no idea.
The Three Sisters were nice but nothing special. The mountains themselves were amazing. The views were so good. We walked around on a bit of a trek. Half way round we got some really cool pictures of us just sitting on the edge of a cliff. The views from there were breathtaking.
We carried on the walk before heading on to a glass bottom cable car. This took us across to a place called Scenic World. Here we got the steepest train in the world down the mountain, walked around the bottom, and got the cable car back up.
After this we headed back to Katoomba station and got the train back to Sydney. Now we are just chilling before our early flight tomorrow.
Can't wait for the New Zealand adventure to begin!!! Hope everyone is all good.
