Paradise....... So our bus from Kuala Lumpur arrived in Kuala Besut, on the north east coat of Malaysia, at about 6.30am on Wednesday and we were instantly taken to the dock to catch a boat. Planet of the apes....... So we have just had 3 nights in Kuala Lumpur and I've really enjoyed it. We stayed in Chinatown and splashed out on a nicer hostel called Reggae Guest House. Road Trip....... So we had just over 48 hours to get from Koh Tao in Thailand to Tokyo in Japan. Sounds a nice, simple journey but it wasn't. We started off with a taxi from our hostel to the port to get on a high speed boat from Koh Tao to Koh Phangan followed by another boat to the Thai mainland.
