Bye bye Columbia, Slow boat to Peru

Today I had to go to the airport to get my exit stamp, go back to the hostel pack up all my gear, take a boat across the river to Santa Rosa, and go to immigration there to get stamped into Peru. It was all a relatively easy experience!
Once in Santa Rosa I just chilled out in a restaurant, then one last small boat trip across to the island where the boat stops. The boat "Victor Manuel" had plenty of space on it when I got on, but slowly filled up as the days went by onward to Iquitos.
