First thing we had to do here is drive back to the other hostel (2 hours there and back) because i left my mobile there doh!

Lake Taupo is so beautiful, really nice places to stay and the lake is massive it even has a tide so looks like the sea and theres loads of things to do here.

our room is in a really nice house which we share with 2 other couples. When we got here we went to talk to the tourist information place becauese i wanted to know how much it was to do a sky jump here, i know i sound mad but ive always wanted to do one and Lake Taupo is meant to be the cheapest place in the world and one of the best because where else san you see a beautiful lake surru=ounded by mountains and forests?? (i will prob have my eyes shut the whole time anyway)

The woman told me the prices, i was quite happy with them and she said would i like her to check to see if i could get on that afternoons one? i thought there would be no chance because it was already 1pm, she phoned and came back and said "done, they will pick you up at 3pm" i thought s***!! Kris decided she really wanted to do one aswel. so we were both s***ting it abit waiting till 3 and now i Have to jump because Kris is coming and i cant bottle out infront of her.

aT 3PM a white streched Limo came to pick us up.(only the best for us) when we got to the air strip where the planes take off, we had to go and watch some girls video of her jump to get the idea of what we are about to get ourselfs into, while watching it my hands started to really sweat and shake, i cant believe im just about to do this! we had to choose the music we wanted on our dvd it was really hard to think about it before the jump but i chose mission impossible for the beginning going up, smack my b**** up for the free fall and coldplay yellow for the end.

then we got offered 3 packages 9000ft 12000ft of 15000ft which works out you get 1 minute free fall. Guess which one i chose... well if you going to do it you have to do the biggest! bring on the 1 minute free fall!!!

we both went and got kitted up and i was taken outside to be interviewed for my jump dvd then i was taken to the plane. Then kris and another couple got on with the people they were jumping with.

So we took off and i watched the plane leave the ground and i felt sick with nerves but i didnt want to show it. we got to 12000ft and the door opens and the other couple go to the door and jump then the door closes again and we are going up to the 15000ft! i cant believe im just about to jump out of a plane!

we get to the 15000ft the door opens and i feel the cold air hit me then i have to watch kris slide over to the door with the sky jump bloke attached to her back, she sits down at the door, puts her legs out the opening then  3,2,1 shes gone! my first thought was s*** now its my turn!!

i slide over to the door and OH MY GOD! i shouldnt of looked down!  i brace myself then before i know it, we are out the plane. What a rush, i was just blown away by it and shouting and swearing all the way, and praying that the shute will open!

after a minute of freefall which passed like a second he pulled the cord, the parashute opened and we were just floating down with amazing views. the landing was really smooth and the first thing i did was hug the bloke who i jumped with. then go and hug kris. We both landed fine. What a buzz!! we got changed and then went and watched our dvds on the big scren it was well funny definatly the best thing i have ever done!!!

me and kris loved it and then we were just talking about it all night
