It was a really nice little french town and had some really good sea food
we had to work as a team to get the tent up meant to take 30mins took us about 2 hours but not bad for the first go!!
the next day we swam with dolphins for Kris' birthday. We went out on a boat to find a group of dolphins then suddenly we saw loads swimming over to us and jumping out of the water
. I was the first one to jump in and get involved, the water was so cold!!! in the cook islands i was wearin a 3mm short wetsuit, the water was 26 degress and the visability was sometimes as much as 40metres.
Here i had to wear a full 4mm wetsuit and boots, the temp was 10 degrees and the visability was 2metres so slightly different.
I couldnt even put my face into the water it was that cold but it didnt matter because all the dolphins were swimming on the surface around us, the kept on going away then different groups would come back, these were wild dolphins and the boat doesnt feed them to come over they are just nosey and want to know whats goin on. We were told that they like noise so people were blowing bubbles through their snorkels and me and kris were clapping and trying our best to sing which proberly scared them away!
Kris got out the water after about 40minutes and i stayed in there or an hour, the weather changed as soon as i got out the water and the sea got abit rougher and it started raining. And the afternoon tour was canceled because of the weather so we were really lucky to get out in the morning.
we are off to our next destination
