Well it was my 24th Birthday so to mark the occasion we decided to do a little road trip along The Great Ocean Road for the weekend.
The Great Ocean Road is a coastal road that runs along the Southwest of Victoria inbetween Torquay and Warnambool. The road loops around the coastline with the main attraction being the 12 Apostles which are huge rock formations coming up out of the Sea.
On the Road Trip were two cars myself driving one car and Evan the other! In my car was Finlay, Camil and Miren whilst Joel and Brishay in Evan's! About 2minutes driving through Melbourne and Evan had already been flashed speeding and going through a red light haha! We left on Friday afternoon and drove to Torquay where we found a lay by to pitch up our tents. That night was the 6th so we sat up playing drinking games in the tent and at midnight celebrated by a massive cheers for the arrival of my birthday and thankfully no speeches from Joel haha.
The following morning woke up a little tender, packed up our Tents and headed to travel along the GOR taking in all the sights. Stopped at a little cafe for a $12 Bacon Roll to feed the Hangover and open all my Birthday cards sent from home which were very much appreciated. Headed along the Road and was just a beautiful road that feel very privileged to have had the opportunity to drive. Stopped in at all the sights stopping for a few hours at the Apostles which literally took all our breaths away, was just stunning. That night we managed to drive all the way to Warnambool where we stayed at a Campsite so managed to get a shower before we headed out on Round 2. I was lucky enough to have a surprise meal booked by all the guys at a nice restaurant where the food was really good! Had Calamari shared with Evan for a starter and a Porterhouse Steak for main. After the food (Incl a delicious Birthday cake) we headed out to sample the nightlife. Were a couple of little pubs and finally found 1 we were all allowed into as some of us (Camil and Joel) came wearing flip flops lol! Some of the guys were feeling a little tender so headed back around Midnight, however was my birthday so felt had to keep it going lol! So glad i did as had the best night i have had in Australia. Was only me, Brishay and Evan that stayed out and went to the only club in the town. Luckily enough they had a silent disco on and was absolutely class. Headsets had 3channels where you could choose the type of music to listen to and dance accordingly. Was funny taking the headphones off and just listening to everyone singing without having any music playing. Stayed until closing and then headed back to Campsite where we were told to keep our noise levels done about 50 times lol.
On the Sunday woke up feeling like death, had plans to go surfing but the weather wasn't the best and hangover was quite crippling lol so just headed back for Melbs! Was an excellent way to spend my 24th Birthday with good quality company, the Apostles were a highlight of not just Australia but our entire travels in general.

Evan I'd like an edit on this please. Ahem, "flashed, but only by a test camera" I was just doing my civil duty and making sure the camera was working for them.
