Hello from Malaysia's capital city Kuala Lumpur.

Arrived here in a taxi from Pangkor that was surprisingly cheap. Brand spanking Mercedez aswell so we arrived in style. Arrived 4days prior to meeting Brishay on the 2nd so had plenty of time to scope out all the must sees and dos along with having a fair few boozy nights out lol!

Our first stop was Thai restaurant in the centre where we used the Wifi to search for a decent looking priced hotel. Had my first plate of Phad Thai since leaving Thailand and it was superb! Found a decent 4Star hotel for cheap so booked it online and headed for the Monorail service to get to the area it was in. Hotel was very nice and had a pool so that was our first stop. Dumped our bags and headed for a wee douk which was ace as weather had finally improved and were both sweating buckets carting our bags about. It was quite late on so we showered and headed out for bite to eat and sample the night-life. Ate at TGI Fridays which was amazing, both had Rib eye steaks then walked the short distance to KL's main strip of bars/clubs. Only made one bar and it was called Beach Club. Place was quite good but we were pestered by a lot of African ladies wanting to share the bottle of Vodka we had bought lol. Club was full of Asian, African girls walking around trying to get gents attention to eventually be taken home and paid for their services. There was a band playing so we headed closer to the dance floor and meet in with a few Middle Eastern guys at the bar. Had a cracking night with them polishing of 3bottles of Vodka between us lol!

Woke up at 3pm the following day, ordered room service, went to sleep - End of Day 2 in KL haha! The following day we checked out our hotel and headed for a cheaper one with the same star rating a bit further out of town. Hotel was right next to Monorail service so was no big deal. That day we headed and seen the Petronas Twin Towers which really were a fair site. Right next door to them was a huge shopping complex that we had a good rake about in. Headed then for China Town where we ate at a street called Jalan Alor which was crammed with Street Vendor selling all types of Cheap Asian food. We ate at a Chinese restaurant and the food was again Superb. Headed back to Hotel to freshen up and chill at our pool for the remained of the day! That night went out and ate at an Italian restaurant where Ian ordered Scallops and Clams which I got to try and loved them. Fair seafood fan now lol. I had some Baby Back Ribs which were delish and a few pints of Guinness lol.

After our meal it was pretty much the same scenario as our first night out. This time we did try a few of the Ex-pat Irish bars which were OK but not as much crack as The Beach Club lol. Again met in with some Middle Eastern guys beside bar who were an even bigger laugh than the last lot and have got their facebook details to get in touch. The night went pretty much the same as the last, smashed of another 3bottles of Vodka lol! Had camera out with us and got some cracking snaps which am sure will be uploaded lol. The following day again we got up late afternoon ordered room service and just festered in our pits for the rest of the day haha. Did get up this time to go our tea but made it as far as Dominoes pizza which we demolished then hit the sack for good sleep to meet Brishay the following day.

We booked our 3rd hotel in KL which we got an even better deal on and was much more central so just chilled there all day before meeting The Return of the Brig haha sounds like a Horror movie haha! I was happy to meet Brishay after 2long weeks apart and got reacquainted to what we have both been up to. The 3of us went out for a meal at the big Shopping Complex and ate at a Chilis restaurant which was Phenomenal. All 3 of us were rolled out by the Waiters after stuffing ourselves so much with the awesome Tex-Mex grub. Walked around and seen the Towers at night which are all lit up trying to get rid of our bloatedness lol. We then headed for Ex-Pat bar strip where we had a few drinks and called it an early night as were all bit tired.

Following day we were up and headed for China Town to do a bit of Shopping. We checked out a few big malls where Ian bought some new Attire and then headed for a mall just dedicated to Electronics. Me and Ian both bought a new pair of Dr Dre Beats headphones which are the business lol. Just generally wandered around again eating at the street food of Jalan Alor. Went back and chilled the remainder of the day and got ready to head out for Tea and watch Scotland's Euro Qualifier against the Czechs. Had grub at the Hard Rock Café which was brilliant as expected, then headed for an Irish Bar that was screening the game on a big screen for a few drinks watching the game. Bit of a disappointment with the game but have to remember it was Scotland we were watching so was to be expected. After the game we shot few games of pool with Ian being humiliated by myself not for the 1st time this trip I will add ( GRANNIED ) lol. Headed out for a few drinks again hitting up Beach club but I was feeling bit tired so me and Brishay called it a night early and left Ian to it lol.

The following morning woke up as fresh as Spring Daisy which is more that can be said for the thing that crawled out the room next to us. Woke up early to see if we could go up the Twin Towers and to be honest I think Ian was still drunk … well he at least smelt like he was aha! Headed for the Towers but were too late to get up which was no biggie as seeing them was good enough really. Ate some breakfast at the shopping mall then headed to the Traders Hotel as you can the best view of the towers from there! The view was fantastic and have some excellent pictures. We headed back to hotel that day for Ian to get back into being hungover in his pit lol! Chilled the whole day before heading out for tea at Jalan Alor for the last time which againwas top notch grub. Called it an early night with unbelievable not touching a drop of Alcohol in prep for Ian leaving us tomorrow to head back up to Bangkok for a few nights before flying home. Myself and Brig shall be heading South but have decided to stay one more night in KL to get internet things sorted encase our next stop, Port d*** on is scarce of Internet.

Must say it has been a cracking two weeks with my man Mr Cumming and have had an absolute blast! Had some phenomenal nights out and seen some brilliant places along the way so hope you have enjoyed the travelling as much as I have. Appreciate a the extra dough he splashed out on Golf and Hotels etc so if your reading... Thank You Darling!! He has been told to get saving for his flights to Auz next year already for Round 2 of some Jocks on tour shenanigans haha. Anyway that's KL done and now for Port d*** on which is meant to be one of the nicest stretches of sand in Malaysia so weather permitting may be able to get the G-String back on and Get my Tan on lol.
