Hello from the closet island to Malaysia's capital, Pulua Pangkor.

We only stayed here one night as there was practically nothing to do and we were not blessed with the best of the weather so one night and 2 days was more than enough. The island is relatively small and we decided to stay at the busiest beach called Castaway beach. Was not all that busy though apart from Chinese everywhere with their life jackets on bobbing around in the shallows lol!

The day we arrived we rented 2 scooters and went right around the island which only took 30mins! Wasn't much to see apart from a couple of view points and other bays. We stopped at a beach near ours for some lunch at a place called Big Daddy's Seafood! The food was superb, we shared a spicy Crab dish which was more than enough for the 2 of us and delicious. After that we went back and chilled at our beach until supper time. There were no bars or anything like that on the island so we went out for a lateish tea at restaurant next to Big Daddys's which again was Seafood and again was superb. We both had a prawn dish and a couple of beers. We finished our meal and headed for the closest 7/11, bought a few shandy's and headed back to hotel room to watch that Sunday's Premiership football. Was the Man United - Arsenal game so both enjoyed seeing the gooners getting humped. Game finished so we tucked each other in and said our prayers before we rested our little heads for heading to KL the following morning.

Would have prob stayed here another night if weather was better but both fed up of little local places now and looking forward to a bit of mayhem in KL.
