Spent the morning strolling around Temple Square and the gardens. Quite an amazing place with no expense spared in the buildings and gardens. Although it was Sunday and crowded with people coming and going to their church we were allowed to wander around and take photos.

In the afternoon we took a drive through the alpine loop through the Wasatch Mountains to the east of SLC - see photo. Ended up at Robert Redfords Sundance Ranch - he wastn't there but we were able to enjoy a hot drink. The weather changed and we got some heavy rain - the high cliffs of the canyons turned into waterfalls.

Today, Monday, is Glendon's birthday so preparation includes a nap.
