We have arrived in SLC and met up with Glendon & Jacinda.

Yesterday we drove from Driggs Idaho via Jackson Hole and followed the Snake River and a few other rivers to Bear Lake where we meant to have a picnic lunch. It is the Labour Day weekend and the end of summer holidays in the US so when we got to Bear Lake we met all the populations of Wyoming, Utah and Idaho...or so it seemed. We kept driving and found a lookout that only had a crowd of people so we lunched there.

We found G&J's place thanks to GPS and maps and after a bit of chatting we headed into town and relaxed in a restaurant for the evening meal.

Late to bed and late to rise - we enjoyed a sleep-in.

Today we explore SLC and take an alpine drive just to the west of town - similar plce to where the winter olympics were held a few years ago
