Day 13 Going to Prince Rupert Was going to write but a very strange thing occurred this morning when we arrived at the station in Prince George we were all told our train would be delay 5 hrs which meant we would miss our connection with the ferry to Ketchikan. We left Jasper at 12.45 pm traveled by train to Prince George, on arrival it look like a ghost town, and that was at 7.10pm . Had tea at the keg bar and grill , for a pub was great not flash , but great. There were few photos as the smoke was bad again so I have added a map with information of the trip . One Day In Banff Day 8 We have just the one day in Banff so the plans are made and we are off and running by 9.00am. This will be our first trial of driving since the well address Italy drive, hopefully we have learn from that. The first thing to make it easier is it is an automatic car that straight away removes some tension , secondly it in a small country town , and last of all the speed limit is slow to very slow so that make more time to make a decision. ...

Day 6 Today we started the first stage of a 2day adventure on the Rocky Mountaineer which starts in Vancouver at 8.00am and end in Kamloops at 5.15pm. The first section of the trip is fairly slow as the train works it way out of the city . Slowly but surely the train gathers speed and the high rise building disappear bring forth the wilderness.
