Well we moving to our Northern Greece Adventure. Pickup to the airport 7:00am on time, at arrive airport on time . Loaded on to plane ,taxi to take off point , we wait and then we wait some more ,40 minutes we waited Finially the go comes and we are off.
The lateness of our take off mean when we arrive in Athens will have no time to spare to get catch our second flight to Thessaloniki.
Athens you are kidding me, although we tried to explain that our plane was boarding the slower they tried to process us. In all our holidays I have only Shirley run once ,. I HAD FORGOTTEN THAT IN ANOTHER LIFE SHE MUST HAVE BEEN AN OLYMPIC RUNNER,.Once through the standard bag checks we we off and running, and let me tell you all I ate was her dust , a new airport record must have set. We get to to gate and we think that everyone has board but us ,it then when that terrible thought hit your brain,Oh no we missed our flight, but not this ,thank goodness, we are on our way.
Safe touch down Thessaloniki , go to bag pick up ,no bags . We asks a person he say there is a special area for non European luggage . We go there and there is my bag but wait for this Shirley’s bag is missing, talk about a bad hair day. Shirley was have one for sure. Any way we filed a report and than hoped for the best and left it now with the air port.
We decide we would continue the tradition and also have a look around. You wouldn’t believe it a phone call from the airport they had found the bag would be at our hotel between 7-8:pm didn’t arrive so Shirley especially hopes it arrives in the morning.
