This morning I'm off to the Camera Obsecura, the world of Illusion .
Magic Gallery
The Magic Gallery houses some of our most electrifying exhibits, a great variety of cool optical illusions and hands-on, interactive experiences. Like every aspect of your visit, it's also great fun!
The Magic Gallery Plasma Tubes and Globes bring electricity right to your fingertips. I could literally light up the room by using my hands to connect a giant Plasma Ball to a light tube on the wall. I felt a little spark as a tiny shock - it's a very small current, which is quite safe.
I explore classic optical illusions including maddening magic eye pictures and mind-bending mirrors. Become a 'big head' with the giant lens. Swap noses and heads , or shake hands with yourself. The Shadow Wall, which captured my shadow in a flash!
Light Fantastic is a filled with interactive fun, tricks, and illusions - many unique to Camera Obscura. It messed with my mind (in the best possible way) as your eyes are fooled by brilliant visual effects..Great hr for young kids (6-15), I think.
At 8.00pm we head of to the Military Tattoo and for Hour and a half the best military Band from around the commonwealth and the world entertained myself and the crowd of 8000 with their drills, Music and songs Bands from England ,Scotland,Trinadad as well as Switzerland and Norway,a fantastic night .
Shirley and I also worked out a better way to get back to the bus . On arriving we followed the google maps directions ,yes it got us here but we had to traverse about 90 steep stairs to go down that means also to go up and Shirley can't carry hers,so mule that's me will be carrying a back pack that weighs 8 and 2 bag that weigh together 36 kilos up these steep stairs, no thank you.
Ok that's today in a nutshell
Love Shirley and John
