We have decide that we are going to see the castle and the old town ,in the reverse order. We are doing this on foot and our first port of call is the tourist info centre, This was a good experience as the young girl spoke really good English ,and advised us that the trams were free for people our age.Map in hand and directions in mind we are off ,around the old town, there are so many beautiful buildings, in and out off shops , trying the fruit straight of the street stall. The one thing we found is that the Czech people are more likely to help you then in those Dresden.

Shirley and I dawdle around the old town for couple of hours amazed by the culture and architecture,it was now time to walk up to the castle . This castle dates back to 880and has the Vitus cathedral which dates from,1344 to 1929 for completion .
The walk takes it toll on both of us as the last bit has a really steep incline, we are b*****ed ,but onward we march ,sound like a war time movie, so we can catch the changing of the guard at 12:00.This takes about 40 minutes . but it is stinking hot ,

All the prompt and ceremony was good to watch while the real soldiers stood by with their AKA sub machine gun.Evenually it was time head back to our little apartment and relax as we were going out to have a seafood Dinner .we work out that our travel walk,we had completed 13 k thanks to my health app

A snooze then off for dinner , beautiful well cooked scallops , calamari and octopus ,plus stir fried veggies and chips. We head home full and tired 😴 and our plans to watch a movie fall short as we both lye on the bed and the sandman get us both.
