Ladies and Gentlemen
To day while sailing from Vis to Korcula the world discovered the New Estha Williams who, for those who don’t know was a swimming sensation in the 50 s 60s then film star in movies with Dean Martin , Abbot and Costello. The grace and beautiful of this woman had to be seen to be believed, the technique , the smiling had earmark of the future that may lay ahead . I can’t tell you her name as there are contract most probably in the wind.
Today left Vis to sail to Korcula this is going to take most of the day when they throw in the 2 hour swim. We arrive at 3.30 pm and have 45 minutes before we all go on a walking tour of the city . That passes quickly and I am thinking another town the same history, and it was in part, but for the guide .This guide made being in a tour group walking tour and enjoyable, fascinating adventure. I don’t think I’ve laugh so much at the history of a town as I did with this wonderful presenter . Sometimes one person can make a difference.
Where back at he boat only to freshen up then of to continue the tradition time with the Island famous white wine called GRK . We then just wonder through shops looking for anything that may suit Shirley ear. Hungry now ,searching for restaurant ,no research done this time, I know that’s hard to believe, we find an Asian restaurant called Silk ,we looking at the menu , hear a voice and this man standing next to us is an Aussie. We chat as we do ,he had been here for five years, is the owner and is the owner of one of the hotel on the island.
