Another ridiculously and impossibly early start!!! (04h45 wake up) to be collected at 05h30, airport at 06h00, departure by 07h00. Hey this was supposed to be a holiday!

Anyway, Emeco made our morning with yet another upgrade to business class (thank you once again) and by 09h30 we were back at the Dusit Thani hotel in Cairo (Marina's favourite hotel to date).

After a bit of computer work and luggage resorting, it was time for lunch, and John decided to lock up our valuables in the room safe. The valuables were secure in a safe… but the wrong safe… still at the Novotel in Sharm el Sheikh. Oh s***t!Problema!!! Anyway, now resolved thanks to management at Novotel in Sharm and slick work from Emeco (and Dani's assistance in Johannesburg) - we get the stuff back tomorrow before we leave for Alexandria (our belongings are coming by private vehicle from Sharm). Guess we were not fully awake when we left the hotel this morning. Not much more to do today but rest and sort out a few things in the Beast as it had a very comfortable stay at this 7 star establishment and then an early night.
