This morning we all did a bike tour of Hoi An and the country side. We saw many rice fields, farmers, fishermen and even got to ride a water buffulo. It was fun biking around and we got to see so much. We also did a bamboo boat ride. The boats are like large bamboo bowls that fit 3 people. We paddled along in the river fishing for crabs. Today I woke up on the train in a bad mood, but things just got better from there. Hoi An is gorgeous!! I am loving Vietnam more and more everyday. We arrived in Nha Trang at 5am on the night train. Fortunately, we got our rooms at the hotel even though we were so early. After a little rest, we took a walk down to the beautiful beach and had iced coffees. I layed by the beach all day. I slept, swam and read my new book "the beach". Today, we visited a famous battle site from the Vietnam war between North and South Vietnam. The Americans were helping South Vietnam in hopes of avoiding another communist country.
