Lovely sunny day! Off to explore York Minster, a huge, beautiful Cathedral, second only to Canterbury Cathedral in importance in England. Wonderful tour with surprisingly good guide. Next stop the RR Museum. Actually worth the visit. Then back to the Cathedral for Choral Evensong, a singing service which hasn't changed its format since the 1500's!

Lois Goodstein Boo! The International Ghost Research Foundation announced in 2002 that York is officially the Most Haunted City in Europe. (Might want to check under the bed in your hotel room tonight for any unwelcome visitors…)
