After clocking up a few more KM's in the camper we arrived at Nelson Bay! This is a lovely little town with lots of secluded white sandy beaches! After a quick scout around the town we decided to check out Soldiers Point just a short drive away….. It was recommended as a fantastic place to watch the sunset and it really was stunning! After so much driving and activity over the last few days we decided a much deserved day on the beach would be fun…. We picked Bar Beach as recommended by the trusty lonely planet and before hitting the sand decided to have lunch overlooking the ocean which ended up being enjoyed inside the camper due to a large group of hungry looking seagulls getting a little too close for Jo’s liking!
