Day 25 - Pai We checked out of our room and went around the corner to a cafe for lunch then jumped in a taxi to the bus station. We bought our ticket to Pai and were shown to our 'bus' - which was just a mini van with no boot space for our rucksacks, thankfully it was only 3 hours. The drive there was really good. Day 24 - Chiang Mai Early rise today at 6.30am to get ready and have breakfast before we were picked up at 8. We had booked a day tour, and we had a one hour drive squeezed in the back of a very hot truck. Our first stop was the akai village. Day 23 - Chiang Mai  Michael and I had to check out at 11am and move to a different room this morning. So at 10am, feeling terrible, we got up to pack our stuff up and move. Day 22 - Chiang Mai  Nicola and Lynsey arrived in Chiang Mai early this morning and booked into the same hotel as us. We knew they would want to sleep so we hung around waiting for them and they came chalking our door about 1.30.
