Jens' Travels
Today, I made my way over to Hillerod, site of Frederiksborg Castle. This is a very picturesque Renaissance castle, surrounded by a lake, and the inside is fairly elaborate. There's lots of detail on Danish history from the Renaissance through to World War II.
After spending some time exploring the town of Hillerod, I made my way back to Copenhagen and headed over to the Carlsberg Brewery. The museum had some interesting displays, including several bottles throughout different years and countries, a detailed history of Carlsberg, displays showing the brewing process, stables, and some old Carlsberg vehicles on display. Though a worthwhile experience, the museum doesn't quite rival the Heineken Museum in Amsterdam.
