Hirtshals, Denmark Aug 17, 2015 I made my way via train to the town of Hirtshals on the north coast of Jutland. From here I boarded the ferry that would take me to Norway.
Aarhus, Denmark Aug 16, 2015 The weather was once again subpar and there's not much activity on Sundays. However, the rain let up enough to still enjoy exploring more of the city. I walked past Aros, an art museum that has a toroid-shaped walkway at the top. I also made my way past Den Gamle By, an open-air museum of an old town and some gardens nearby, which were quite picturesque.
Aarhus, Denmark Aug 15, 2015 Unfortunately, the weather wasn't very nice this day and, as seems to happen on Scandinavian weekends, there wasn't a lot happening in the city. Nonetheless, I set off to explore the city. I started off heading to Stroget, then made my way farther south, where one can find some scenic parks (more scenic when there's sunshine).
Aarhus, Denmark Aug 14, 2015 I took the train from Svendborg to Aarhus, Denmark's second largest city, which is situated on Jutland. I had time to take a short walk through the city. Aarhus' Stroget was fairly lively and had an extensive array of shops and cafes.
Odense, Denmark Aug 13, 2015 The weather was quite nice on Funen this day, and I took the train over to Odense to check out Denmark's third largest city. The city centre was quite lively and one can find some old cathedrals and Odense castle therein. I decided to take a scenic walk along , a canal that runs through town. It goes down past Odense Zoo and Funen Village, an open-air museum of an old Funen town. I made my way back to the city centre to check out St. Canute's Cathedral and Oden...
