Jens' Travels
The weather was a bit dreary this day and was fighting some jet-lag; nonetheless, I set off to explore the city a little to the north of the hotel.
Navigation became a bit easier when I saw and remembered from a previous European vacation that a lot of the street signs are posted on the sides of buildings. European streets tend to be narrow and you see quite the mix of new and old with respect to the city's architecture.
I eventually made it over to the National Museum, where I spent the remainder of the afternoon going through the exhibits. The museum detailed the history of Denmark from prehistoric times to the modern day and housed a wide range of artifacts from the various time periods.
Afterwards, I spent some time wandering the streets and tried get my bearings for further explanation. European cities tend to be fairly interesting to explore on foot and there are pedestrian-only streets you can find.
