Today, I made my way over to Hillerod, site of Frederiksborg Castle. This is a very picturesque Renaissance castle, surrounded by a lake, and the inside is fairly elaborate. The weather was quite nice this day and I thus decided to take in a few outdoor attractions. I started off by taking the train to Osterport and made my way to the waterfront and walked by The Little Mermaid (Den Lille Havfrue) statue. I flew in from London and arrived in Copenhagen in the evening. My hotel I stayed at is located right near Copenhagen Central Station and has good access to many attractions.
