We headed off from Darwin at about 8.30 Tuesday and headed south to Katherine, arriving after lunch we did some grocery shopping not knowing what shops were ahead of us. We left Katherine about 8am thinking that we would spend the night at Victoria River, it didn't take as long as we thought so we continued on to Timber Creek where we stayed Fogarty's Roadhouse. There were only about 4 caravans here so we could park where ever we wanted.

We had a lovely day at Leitchfield National Park and we drove to The Lost City which was about 10 &1/2km off the main road, it was a slow trip but well worth it. It was lovely to see the water flowing at Florence Falls and Wangi Falls as rain has been very scarce up this way. HOT & HUMID!!!
