Jillian and Grant's World Tour 2009!
On the 26th we headed from Airlie Beach to Townsville and caught the ferry over to Magnetic Island. We stayed at Kaola sanctuary.
We had the morning at the sanctuary the following morning and went on the guided tour. There were twelve of us in the group and we got to hold a crocodile, cockatoo, snake and lizard. Some people paid to hold the Kaola. It is the law in Australia that you must pay money to hold a Kaola, this is to try and cut down on the number of poeple holding them as it stresses them out. We decided that paying money wasnt going to help the Kaola and so we admired Dextor (the Kaola) from a distance. The poeple that held him said he was stinking anyway.
