We arrived in the Cameron Highlands from Kuala Lumpur in the afternoon of the 11th. We had a walk around the small village we were staying in. We went to dinner with the group. We got an assortment of meat and vegetables and then you are given a pot with two different soups in it to cook the rest of the food in yourself.
On the 12th everyone in the group decided to do a day trip. So we started off with a two hour walk up a hill to see the largest flower in the world. It was cool to see the flower, however those of you who know my fitness capabilities will appreciate that the walk was extremely difficult for me, and was more like a hike if i'm being honest, lol. Just when we get to the top and are standing by the flower, the very crazy asian men start shooing everyone very quickly and telling us to be quiet. It turns out that there was a Tiger not far from where we were, which may have felt the need to pounce on one of us at any moment. However, after the shock of the walk we went to a tea plantation and got shown around it and got a much needed cuppa. After the tea plantation we went to s strawberry farm and had some really good straberries and ice cream and a strawberry milkshake.
