As if yesterday was good, today had even more to offer. Up a little earlier today to hit the road, starting with something a little different - Jam and Preserves tasting plus a wonderful brace of liqueurs, (Almond and Chocolate). This was followed in quick succession with the Nougat Factory, the Chocolate Factory, the Cereal Factory and then the Cheese Factory. We then felt we needed a coffee break for a rest, so jokingly I asked if there was a Coffee sampling factory. A quick Google revealed Australia's oldest and Original coffee importer was close by, so we just had to call in. It was very educational as well as being able to taste and watch beans being roasted and packaged. (Aaron & I are both into our Coffee's). Who said there was no variety in a wine growing region in Australia. The quality of the samples and products was superb and the accumulative quantity of all the samples consumed was like a full meal. The self guided tour then ended with a beer tasting session at a local brewery accompanied by the best chips that I have ever tasted. Despite all this food and liquid consumption we still felt that we needed to go out for a meal in Margaret River Town as this was our last night there before the drive back to Byford in the morning. In order to build up an appetite Jan, Aaron and I had almost an hour playing footy on the lawn outside our Holiday Mansion. We booked a table at a fish restaurant and enjoyed for my part an incredible Seafood Platter that included both Hot and Cold seafood. The quality was up with the best "plate de fruit de mer" meals that I have ever enjoyed in France. A fitting end to a great 3 days in the great South West Region of Western Australia.

Mum Loved reading your journal on your trip to Margaret River. Better than any travel agent could do. Sian is speaking to Jenny at the moment.
