Up a bit earlier today to get to the Wakeboard Park by10am to sign in for the 2 hour session with the first hour of instruction on the beginners lake followed by an hour on the main lake. After yesterday we were at a bit of a loss for something to do today. Decided to lay in and chill out for the morning. Today is the day. Up at 6am to leave for Freemantle to catch the 7.15 ferry to Rottnest Island. The ferry was about 35 minutes and the weather was warm and bright. Once on the island, our first task was to seek out the indigenous characters that are unique to the island; the Quokka. Not much to say about today. Heavy rain throughout the day, Jen and Pete at work and Checkez out riding trails on his bike. We 3 decided to get a little exercise so went out on a power walk around the neighbourhood then chilled out for the day. The next 3 days are going to be very busy so a rest was considered best.
