Today was a long day, so thankfully we decided to send our backpacks forward so we didn't have to carry them. After a night of excitement and drinking we woke at 6.30 with the idea of being on the road by 7am... Michele, Nancy and Toni were up and had made breakfast of toast and hard boiled eggs, so we got a coffee from the machine and sat and ate toast and eggs..... Tonight we had the most amazing night, I know normally I tell you all about the day, but today although it was good, it was certainly not the highlight.... It was hot and the walk was tough, especially the last 3 or 4 kilometres when the sun was beating down on us and we were walking along the road with no shade....
