So I have safely made it to the airport (thanks Steph for driving me ) and have found my way through check in, my bag officially weighed in at 9.2kg and as I waved it off as it headed down the shoot the lady at the counter informed me that it was actually very light and I could have just taken it on as hand luggage..... WHAT.... I wanted to scream out 'stop that bag'. Fingers crossed she hasn't jinxed me and my bag makes it safely all the way to Madrid...... 8.27...
